What does Janissary do?Janissary is a simple load and performance testing tool for web sites. Written in Java language as a command line tool, Janissary is primarily aimed for developers and site administrators use. Depending on its configuration, Janissary creates concurrent or non-concurrent HTTP requests and reports the status and response time for those requests.
Why do I need Janissary?If you have to do a quick performance test on your website, Janissary is very easy to use. It immediately shows you what pages are working fast or slow. Janissary doesn't pinpoint where the bottleneck if you have a multi-tiered web application but help you see the problem spots.
